There is a small parking lot at the trail head but be aware that over flow parking is not allowed as it is adjacent to a residential neighborhood. The area includes 87 acres of pine and hardwood forest that runs along the Souhegan River. Bird watching, blueberry picking and hiking are the favored activities here. Bring a lunch and enjoy a snack along the sandy banks of the river.

With over 100 outlet stores, including Nike, Banana Republic, Coach, Reebok and dozens of others, you are likely to find whatever it is you’re looking for at the Outlets. It is also an open air mall, so it is a great way to enjoy the fresh New Hampshire air while you get the best deals on your shopping days.
Brewery Tours:
Merrimack is also home to one of the Anheuser-Busch Breweries. If you have ever been curious to learn how your favorite beers are made, they offer complementary tours daily. You can even go more in-depth into the beer making process with their “Brew Master” tours. Tours last about 1.5 hours and include time to visit the hospitality room, gift shop and the grounds.
Craft Beer fans also love a visit to the Able Ebienezer craft brewery. This veteran owned spot produces excellent red ales, a smoked IPA that is worth the trip alone and a distinct offering of seasonal beers too. Take a tour and find out how the owners started with a stainless steel pot and a hot plate in their garage. The Tap Room offers indoor and outdoor seating with heaters and is dog friendly. In the warmer months food trucks offer a variety of snacks and light meals.
